TEDX BEŞİKTAŞ

In Feriye, with the theme "Lead the Change," we organized the climate crisis-themed TEDx Countdown for the first time under the theme "TEDx Beşiktaş" to emphasize the importance of every voice raised and every action taken towards this goal, and to emphasize that we are the change itself.

Hosted by the TEDx Beşiktaş team of Climate Pioneers, we were joined by individuals who have taken action against the climate crisis, believe in change and its power, and have made a difference in their fields. Following talks by Doğanay Tolunay, Uygar Özesmi, Yasemin Uluçınar, Fırat Neziroğlu, and Melike Dirikoç, Zeyn'el Günbek gave a talk and concert. TEDx Countdown is a global movement that aims to find ways to combat the climate crisis to rapidly transition to a world with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.

Since its global launch in 2020, Countdown has aimed to strengthen climate solutions through local events and amplify the voices of individuals pursuing change in the context of the climate crisis. Countdown events, held in many locations around the world, are based on the TEDx model and guidelines.
